Frequently asked questions
What is a credit?
One credit runs one scan, whatever the strategy and however large the universe. Reading results, opening a company, sorting the table, exporting CSV and generating an analyst note are all free. A scan that fails validation before it starts is not charged.
What does a scan actually do?
It pulls fundamentals for every ticker in your universe, applies the rules of the selected screen, and streams back the companies that pass along with the near misses. For the LEAP strategies it also pulls option chains for the names that clear the fundamental gate.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits from a plan and credits from a one-off top-up behave identically and stay on your account until you spend them, including after you cancel a subscription.
What happens when I cancel?
You keep every credit already granted. No further monthly credits are added after the period you have paid for ends. Cancel from Manage billing on the pricing page.
Where does the data come from?
Fundamentals and the default universe come from Yahoo Finance via yfinance. Option chains come from Interactive Brokers when broker credentials are configured, and from Yahoo otherwise. Data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong; the screener reports what it received and flags where a figure looks inconsistent rather than hiding it.
Is this investment advice?
No. It is a research tool. Everything it produces is a filter over public data, not a recommendation, and no output should be treated as a price target or a reason to trade. Options in particular can expire worthless and lose the entire premium.
Can I get an invoice?
Stripe emails a receipt for every payment. If you need a proper invoice with company details, contact us and we will issue one.
